Popcorn On The Fire

Cooking popcorn over the fire is one of my favourite things to do when camping.. and in my kitchen - I just love popcorn!

Try the popcorn recipe below and treat yourself to a satisfying and indulgent snack tonight!

Popcorn in a bowl with a campfire a few feet away

If you've ever indulged in the buttery goodness of a jiffy pop, you'll be delighted to know that recreating that movie-night magic will be a breeze! And if you haven't experienced the wonder of this classic snack, don't worry, because this recipe is still super simple and fun to make.

  1. Grab a tin pie pan, some tinfoil, and, of course, some popcorn kernels.

  2. Give those kernels a good coating of vegetable oil and season them to your heart's content with salt or any other spices you desire, try Axe To Grind's Popcorn Seasonings.

  3. Then pop them into the pie tin, cover with tinfoil (leaving some room), and hold it over the fire (avoiding the flames, of course).

  4. Shake the tin every so often, and before you know it, you'll be in popcorn heaven as those kernels explode into fluffy, delicious goodness!

Make sure you try out some of Axe To Grind's Popcorn Seasonings!

Happy Popping!
